Timken 17-22-AV is a silicon-chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy steel having high resistance to thermal cracking and heat checking, even in a highly hardened condition, and also has good shock resistance at high hardeness levels. This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
