Meehanite SFF400 is a ferritic ductile iron with a minimum tensile strength of 400 MPa (58 ksi) and a minimum elongation of 20%, when measured on test pieces machined from separately cast samples. It is specifically designed to provide good impact properties at low temperature. This fully ferritic Meehanite grade is produced from specially selected high purity raw materials in order to fully develop the mechanical properties in the as-cast condition. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on casting, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: CI-93. Producer or source: Meehanite Metal Corporation.
