Abstract
MAGNESIUM AZ92A is a good structural magnesium alloy particularly suitable for castings of variable wall thickness. It responds o an age-hardening heat treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Mg-38. Producer or source: Magnesium foundries.
