Uddeholm Caldie is a high-carbon, chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy cold-work tool steel that is produced using the electroslag remelting (ESR) process. It is suitable for short and medium run tooling in applications where a combination of very high chipping resistance and compressive strength is required. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on wear resistance. Filing Code: TS-785. Producer or source: Uddeholms AB (a voestalpine company).
