XABO 500 (minimum yield strength of 500 MPa, or 73 ksi, for thicknesses up to 16 mm, or 0.6 in.) is a thermomechanically rolled structural steel. This datasheet applies to thermomechanically rolled flat plate products in thicknesses up to 60 mm (2.4 in.). This steel grade is distinguished by testing by notch-bar impact test to –20 deg C (-4 deg F) minimum.
