Carlson Alloy Nitronic 40 has corrosion resistance superior to 316L and 317L with twice the yield strength at ambient temperatures. Possesses good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures. Retains low magnetic permeability even after severe cold working or at sub-zero temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
