Pyromet Alloy 617 is both oxidation resistant and very strong at high temperatures. It has one of the highest allowable stress values in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code at 982 deg C (1800 deg F). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength.
