Abstract

Sandmeyer alloy 825 is a nickel alloy high in chromium and molybdenum with good corrosion resistance and ductility. The alloy has enough nickel (42%) to be relatively free from chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-687. Producer or source: Sandmeyer Steel Company.
