Abstract
ARMCO 304 and 304L are the low carbon grades of the 19-9 chromium-nickel stainless steels recommended for welded construction. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-55. Producer or source: Armco Inc., Eastern Steel Division.
