Abstract
FIRTH-VICKERS 448 is a ferritic type stainless steel having high oxidation resistance and strength at elevated temperatures. It has good creep resistance in the range 1020 to 1200 deg. F. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep, deformation, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-51. Producer or source: Firth-Vickers Stainless Steels Ltd.
