TOOLOX 44 is a member of the Toolox family of quenched and tempered prehardened tool and machine steel, delivered with guaranteed properties. Toolox 44 has a hardness if HRC 45 and is ideal for nitriding. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
