Alcan 2297-T87 is an Al-Cu-Li-Mn-Zr alloy, developed to provide improved fatigue and damage tolerance with equivalent strength and corrosion resistance compared with incumbent alloy 2124-T851. The alloy possesses fatigue strength 3 to 5 times that of other aluminum alloys. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue.
