Kaiser aluminum alloy 2124 is a high-purity version of 2024 with tighter controls on the iron and silicon for an increase in strength and toughness. It is primarily used as plate in the aircraft industry. This data sheet applies to sheet, coil, and plate in the T851 temper. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties.
