Abstract

Thyrodur 2826 is a shock-resistant tool steel of average hardenability and intermediate alloy content compared with other tool steels with high toughness and resistance to shock. Shock-resistant steels are used primarily for chisels, rivet sets, punches, driver bits, and other applications requiring high toughness and resistance to shock loading. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness. It also includes information on forming and heat treating. Filing Code: TS-654. Producer or source: Schmolz + Bickenbach USA Inc.
