Gall-Tough Plus Stainless is a modification and improvement of Gall-Tough (Alloy Digest SS-510, November 1989). Gall-Tough Plus stainless is an austenitic stainless steel that possesses superior self-mated galling and metal-to-metal wear resistance. It is stronger and has better high-temperature oxidation resistance than AISI Type 304 stainless. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance, corrosion and wear resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-986.
