Hidurel 6 is a copper alloy with some chromium. It has high strength with high conductivity. The alloy has superior conductivity to Hidurel 5 (Alloy Digest Cu-607, July 1996) and is used for electrical applications where strength and brazing ability are major requirements. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and machining. Filing Code: CU-746. Producer or source: Langley Alloys.
