Giantal is a wrought aluminum alloy for mold applications such as low-pressure plastic and composite molding, including thermoforming and resin transfer molding that require the material to have excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. The 5xxx aluminum alloys are preferred for this type of application. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
