Abstract
Outokumpu 260 is commonly called cartridge brass, 70-30 brass, spinning brass, or spring brass. It is the most commonly used copper alloy and has a good combination of properties for forming plus a favorable cost comparison to other alloys. The alloy is often used in architectural, electrical, hardware, munitions, and plumbing applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, machining, and joining. Filing Code: CU-708. Producer or source: Outokumpu American Brass Inc.
