Abstract

Carpenter Project 70+ Type 303 stainless is a modified version of Carpenter Stainless No. 8. The alloy is a hardenable austenitic chromium-nickel steel and is a good general-purpose product for simple and complex parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
