RA718 is a nickel alloy precipitation hardened by gamma prime and double prime. It is readily fabricated and is weldable even in the aged condition. The alloy is used for gas turbine components at temperatures up to 650 deg G (1200 deg F) as well as for cyogenic equipment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-618. Producer or source: Rolled Alloys Inc.
