Abstract

Kaiser Aluminum alloy 6033 has improved machinability over alloy 6061 with an addition of bismuth. The alloy also has a good anodizing response and higher strength than alloy 6061. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: AL-386. Producer or source: Tennalum, A Division of Kaiser Aluminum.
