NIROSTA 4311 is an austenitic stainless steel of the 18 Cr-10 Ni low-carbon type strengthened with nitrogen. The alloy possesses much the same corrosion resistance as Type 304L, but maintains higher strength and toughness. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-859.
