DIEVAR is a premium Cr-Mo-V alloyed hot work tool steel developed by Uddeholm. Development, production, and refining techniques yield a die steel with resistance to heat checking, gross cracking, hot wear, and plastic deformation. The properties profile for DIEVAR makes it a choice for die casting, forging, and extrusion.
