The AL 2003 alloy is a nitrogen-enhanced leaner nickel and molybdenum alloy than the duplex stainless steel AL 2205, but is similar in both phase balance and mechanical properties. Applications include areas where resistance to both general and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking is important. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SS-869. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
