Abstract
14-4CrMo is a martensitic stainless tool steel with better corrosion resistance than Type 440C. Molybdenum increases the corrosion resistance and produces wear-resistant carbides. The alloy is used for its wear resistance and edge retention. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as heat treating and machining. Filing Code: SS-832. Producer or source: Timken Latrobe Steel.
