Abstract

Kaiser Aluminum Alloy 7075 has high mechanical properties and, in the T73 and T74 tempers, offers improved corrosion-cracking resistance. The alloy has good machinability. It is typically used in aircraft structural parts. (See also Alloy Digest Al-457, January 2019.) This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: AL-368. Producer or source: Tennalum, A Division of Kaiser Aluminum.
