Carpenter AerMet 310 alloy has higher strength and hardness while exhibiting good ductility and toughness when compared with AerMet 100 (see Alloy Digest Fe-107, April 1994). The alloy should be considered for armor, structural tubing, and members. This datasheet provides information on composition and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and machining. Filing Code: FE-122. Producer or source: Carpenter.
