Abstract
Kaiser Aluminum alloy 7149 has very high mechanical properties and good machinability. The alloy offers a high resistance to stress-corrosion cracking (SCC) and is typically used in aircraft structural parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: AL-367. Producer or source: Tennalum, A Division of Kaiser Aluminum.
