BioDur 108 alloy is an austenitic alloy but is essentially nickel-free. It contains a very high content of nitrogen to maintain the austenitic structure. The major uses for this alloy are in the biochemical industry for products such as implantable orthopedic components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
