6092/SiC/17.5P is a discontinuous metal-matrix composite fully characterized for discontinuously reinforced alloy (DRA) structural applications. The base alloy is Aluminum Association 6092, and the reinforcement material is SiC. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as fatigue.
