Abstract
UGIMA 4307 (also known as UGIMA 304L) is an austenitic stainless steel produced by special steelmaking techniques that produce a steel with inclusions of malleable oxides, a low melting point, and a controlled composition. The presence of the inclusions lubricates the metal-tool interface during high-speed cutting. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-722. Producer or source: Ugine-Savoie.
