This pure aluminum matrix composite contains 60 volume% alumina. The aluminum ceramic fiber is Nextel 610. The fiber effects the longitudinal direction, resulting in a high longitudinal specific modulus and a specific strength with good off-axis properties. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength.
