Tristelle alloy TS-2 is an alloy of 35Cr-10Ni-12Co developed to withstand both corrosion and galling. This alloy relies on the formation of chromium-rich carbides during solidification. It is the intermediate carbon content alloy in this family, (See TS-1, Alloy Digest SS-662, December 1996, and TS-3, Alloy Digest SS-672, January 1997) and is recommended for valve service. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as joining.
