AL Tech 416 EZR is one variation of AISI Type 416, the free-machining martensitic stainless steel that has been one of the staples of the automatic machining industry. It offers higher machinability than Type 416 EZ (Alloy Digest SS-665, December 1996), but is not recommended for bright hardening. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties.
