Abstract

Chlorimet 3 is a nickel-base alloy containing large amounts of chromium and molybdenum. It provides good resistance to many corrosive conditions not normally handled by other types of commercially available metals and alloys. Chlorimet 3 is a refined equivalent of Hastelloy C and is most commonly used in engineered equipment, such as pumps and valves, made by the alloy’s manufacturer. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-19. Producer or source: Duriron Company Inc.
