DH2F is a modified H13-type tool steel prehardened to 40 HRC that is free-machining. Applications include dies for plastics and zinc, plunger tips, and die plate strippers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
