Armco 409 Ni is a fine-grain stainless steel developed for applications more than 0.120 in. thick needing an alloy superior to Type 409 stainless steels in weld formability and toughness. Applications include coal-handling equipment, transportation containers, mixers, liners, exhaust flanges, heat shields, and cyclones. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
