Carpenter Micro-Melt HS-76 alloy is a superhigh-speed steel made by the powder metallurgy process. The alloy possesses high red hardness, high abrasion resistance, and good toughness. It is proposed for cutting tools where the ASTM M40 series are inadequate. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity.
