Abstract

Carlson Alloy C400 is a general purpose nickel-copper alloy having an excellent combination of high strength, ductility, weldability and corrosion resistance. It is widely used for handling sulfuric acid under reducing conditions, but also has good resistance to hydrofluoric acid, alkaline and neutral salts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-463. Producer or source: G.O. Carlson Inc.
