LEDLOY 4140 is a lead and/or tellurized chromium-molybdenum alloy steel having free cutting characteristics. It is recommended for gears, shafts, fasteners and similar machinery parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
