Abstract

Alloy C-22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that has outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking. The alloy also has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing media. The alloy has good mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures. It can be hot upset, forged, deep drawn, impact extruded and welded. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on joining. Filing Code: Ni-437. Producer or source: Haynes International Inc.
