REMANIT 4462 is a ferritic/austenitic duplex stainless steel with a low carbon content, an addition of nitrogen and a balanced ratio of the alloying elements. This offers a stable structure with good weldability. REMANIT 4462 is well suited for many applications in the chemical industry, in off-shore technology and in the gas and oil industry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
