TIMETAL 622 is useful for damages tolerant designs in airframes and engines. It offers fracture mechanics properties comparable to Ti-6A1-4V Beta Annealed, but with higher strength. Metallurgically, it is an ELI alpha-beta alloy. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
