Abstract

Allegheny Ludlum AL 400 is a ductile nickel-copper alloy with resistance to a variety of corrosive conditions. The alloy is not hardenable by heat treatment. It can be appreciably strengthened by cold work. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-374. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
