NICKEL VAC-901 is an iron-nickel base alloy with high strength and good oxidation resistance up to 1400 F (760 C). It is precipitation hardenable and is produced by vacuum induction melting followed by vacuum are remelting which greatly minimizes directionality of properties in large billets and forgings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-376. Producer or source: Teledyne Allvac.
