Abstract
JESSOP JS Alloy 276 is a nickel-chromium alloy with high molybdenum and moderate tungsten but low iron and silicon contents. This composition provides superior corrosion resistance to a wide variety of environments. It has found wide acceptance in the chemical and petrochemical process industry, flue gas desulfurization systems and the pulp and paper industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-330. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company. Originally published March 1986, revised April 1988.
