Abstract
UNS No. C16200 is a copper-cadmium alloy with high electrical and thermal conductivities combined with high strength and toughness. It is recommended for resistance-welding electrodes, back-up bars and current carrying rings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-535. Producer or source: Copper alloy producers. See also Alloy Digest Cu-541, October 1988.
