Abstract

NILO Alloy 42 is a binary nickel-iron alloy having a low and nominally constant expansion coefficient over the range 20-300 C (68-572 F). It is used for semiconductor lead frames, thermostats and glass-to-metal seals. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming and heat treating. Filing Code: Fe-77. Producer or source: Inco Alloys International Inc..
