Abstract

Copper Alloy No. C91000 is a cast copper-tin alloy which also is known by names formerly used (but not recommended): 197, Tin Bronze and 85-14-0-1. It is a medium-strength alloy and has a good combination of strength, ductility and resistance to corrosion. Its uses include piston rings and bearings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-531. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
