VascoMax T-200 is an 18% nickel maraging steel with titanium as the primary strengthening agent and containing no cobalt. It is double vacuum melted to assure high purity which is essential for optimum mechanical properties. Price stability is an advantage with titanium-strengthened maraging steels, as compared with the price fluctuations that can occur with the cobalt-strengthened steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-422.
